Source Control

The Surgery presents: Source Control @ Club Mission, Leeds. *FRESHERS WEEK TUESDAY*

Pretty much a night of haulage that is better than going to a meat market playing recycled pop. Spread between two arenas - The Surgery and Subversion, the DJs will be delivering a hefty amount of neurofunk, dubstep, drum & bass, glitch-hop, jungle, breakcore, jump up, turntablism and more into the early hours with a terrace area, Riot Lounge and Tardis Bar room featuring historical tracks from the depths of the UK charity shop crates and trippy films like Eraserhead to dance or mong out to.

Music people:

DJM aka Dan The Hat (A party DJ with a twist. "Imagine DJ Yoda caught up in a turbo charged gun fight with Jive Bunny and you'll start getting a picture of what will be going on here" - Slamboree.
A founding member of the free party soundsystem Quake and a regular on the UK festival circuit, DJM has been rocking his own brand of Mashup turntablism since 2006 and shows no signs of slowing down)(

The Surgery (Surgical bass music operations built from a massive stash of charity shop wax. Experimenting with sound synthesis and audio mutation, producer Jonny spends his spare time in the lab with record digger and vinyl junkie Ali slicing and dicing bits and pieces of old records to create their sound. (

Antagonist UK (Renegade Hardware, Discipline, Enternia)
Discipline Records' very own Commander-In-Chief Antagonist who will be shelling the place with his militant brand of dark and atmospheric half time Drum & Bass.

Bob Sickness (Known for his eclectic mashup sets, expect anything from the deepest darkest of 140s to a gabber rendition of the Scissor Sisters. Witness the Sickness that is Mr Bob Sickness)

S.Opress (

Trauma (

Jugganaut (Subversion Sessions, Nocturnal Notion)

DJ Bean (Subversion Sessions)

DJ Skelmet (Skelmet - A test tube baby created in an evil laboratory, Skelmet escaped and ate his creators, now his only purpose is to play horrible jump up to the masses in dark scatty warehouses.)

DJ HaVoK (Aztek Sessions representative bringing the dark & dirty side of all things house and drum & bass. Expect heavy, chunky beats and fire filthy wubs - this one brings his peak selection in bass, jackin, techstep & rollers)

Don Birdman (Lancashire heavyweight, Potential Sounds junglist, known for jazzy breaks and hardcore amens switching up the dance in a funky hip hop styley)

HaVok & Aro will be holding down the Riot Lounge with a selection of garage, house and general filth with Surgery / Vinyl Resting Place, Manchester record shop owner Ali delivering a 45s set in the Tardis Bar for people who want to dance, drink, chill and chat and watch Eraserhead in a bar to some dirty old-skool funk beats and weird records from the depths of UK charity shop crates )
